ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Uroš V. Vujačić was born on May 1, 1953, in Podgorica, Montenegro, into an antifascist family whose history was deeply shaped by the experience of World War II and the turbulent years that followed in the Balkans.
He graduated from the Higher Military School in Bileća and later studied computer programming in Zagreb. For five decades, he worked in private business before stepping away from management in 2020 to devote himself fully to writing and other creative pursuits.
Vujačić writes both prose and poetry. His novel Honor was written between 2018 and 2024 and reflects his enduring interest in human dignity, family, history, and the complex realities of life in the Balkans. His poetry has received recognition in international literary competitions and has found a warm response among readers on social media.
His literary voice is shaped by family heritage, Balkan history, personal experience, and encounters with different cultures. Alongside writing, he enjoys traveling, chess, and music.
He lives in Podgorica, Montenegro, and continues to write, explore, and create.
